Clubhouse
Keys
to the clubhouse are available from Eileen Cullen at a cost of
8 euro. Keys should not be given to junior members or non-members
and junior members are not allowed in the clubhouse without adult
supervision.
Notice
Boards
Check
notice boards in the clubhouse for details of forthcoming events,
competition entries and other items of news.
Use
of courts by junior members
Courts
are available for use at all times up to 6.00 p.m. except when
there is a tournament or competition scheduled or when they are
being used for coaching. The use of the courts is confined to
club members. Junior members may not use the courts after 6.00
p.m. except in the event of a junior tournament taking place after
that time.
Court
bookings
Courts
may be booked by senior members for a period of one hour (on the
hour) from 6.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m. each day except where the courts
have been reserved for club tournaments or competitions. Booking
sheets are in the clubhouse. Bookings may be made up to a week
in advance. Outside these hours the courts are available on a
first come first served basis (again except where reserved for
tournaments or competitions). Consideration should be given to
others members waiting to use the courts. In general a time limit
of one hour should be observed when there are other members waiting
to play.
Etiquette
Members
should behave with the utmost courtesy at all times and consideration
given towards other members particularly those playing on court.
Members should also treat the courts, the clubhouse and its environs
with respect and ensure that no damage is caused to the court
surface or other club property. Any misuse of club property should
be reported to the committee. No food or drink is permitted in
or around the courts.
Committee
Decisions
In
the event of any dispute arising between members concerning the
running of competitions and tournaments the committee shall adjudicate
and in this regard the decision of the Committee shall be final.
