 2010 ALL IRELAND FINALS - GOREY WIN SILVER MEDALS in Athlone Communtiy Games Finals on Sun 15th August.
Team - Mark Berney, Robert Harrington, Ann Reddy, Aoife Crowe, Dermot Wildes, Clodagh Dunne, Declan Wildes, Caleb Dowdell, Mairead Cunningham.
Mark Berney & Robert Harrington were our boys doubles, these two lads have been playing together for years now and are undefeated in Communtity Games matchs over the last few years in both u13 & u16's. They beat Clare lads yesterday 6 1, 6 3.
Ann Reddy & Aoife Crowe were our girls doubles and played a great match against a stronger pair from Clare, losing 1 6, 4 6.
Dermot Wildes and Clodagh Dunne had to play the deciding match, Gorey stared really well taking the 1st set, only to lose in a tight 3 set thriller.
We had 3 fantastic subs travel with us Declan Wildes, Mairead Cunningham & Caleb Dowdell.
Great fun was had by players and parents. Thanks to the tennis club for sponsoring team hoodies.

2010 Leinster Finals Gorey u13 were Silver Medal winners in Carlow on Sat 10th July, & u16 won Leinsters, now going through to All Ireland Finals in Athlone on 14th August.
2010 Gorey won the County Finals in both U13 & U16 sections on Sunday 9th May
2009 Gorey reached the Leinster Finals -

2008 Gorey reached the All Ireland Finals and won silver medals -
Kevin Harrington, Conor Berney, Christopher Smith, Andrew Hooke, Aoife Crowe, Michelle Dunne and Ann Reddy were all on the team.
2007 Gorey reached the All Ireland Finals and won Gold medals -
